Where can I buy Cover Girl Products if I live in England?

I was watching a video on you tube the other day and she put on this gorgeous product called Cover Girl Smoother Tinted Moisturizer Spf 15.

Alas I am from England and am actually dying to buy this product, but cant seem to find it.

Please dont say Ebay as I have already looked here.

Maybelline by a long shot. Lashblast was super disappointing for all the hype it got. Probably would be available at walmart since they carry that type of thing. Would you pick Cover Girl LashBlast or Maybelline Colossal Volum' Express?
maybelline is the way to go with mascras i have every one of their mascaras. cover girl lash blast mascaraw with clump with not legethen wont do carp. i bought some the other week and spent 7.00 dollars on that piece of crap. i made my eyelashes shorter and it is hard to get off even if you dont buy the water proof. i think that it just has a big brush and big tube to get your attention it doesnt do crap. i tried the colossal mascra that crap is like magic. i but it on my lashes and not only did it lengthen and volumized but also made my eyes stand out and brung out the color of them also was very easy to take off. :D

I have been using makeup for a longtime! and I can tell you that with the Dior/Lancome/Chanel etc brands you are paying big bucks for the name and packaging and there are many other equivalent products on the market if you search around. Smell and texture are important to me - I won't use a lipstick (even if it looks good if I don't like the texture or smell (same for face creams). I find a $5 Covergirl green/pink tube one of the best for mascara - again, if you like a certain type of wand or brush for mascara you may want to splash out just to get it if the cheaper brands don't make it. But as far as lipsticks go, L'Oreal Color Riche are lovely and moist and taste/smell great (to me!)...less than half the price and just as good a quality as Lancome etc. Technologies for things like makeup and shampoo have improved so much over the last 10-20 years that a lot of it comes down to i) personal preference and ii)the snob factor. OTOH I have a niece in NZ who is on the stage and she loves MAC - and she applies it well ; - )!Are big make up brands like Dior, MAC etc. the same as Maybelline,Cover Girl make up?

My mom is MAC obsessed it is the best for makeup in general. Especially their eye shadows, they have all different kinds. I use it and you should go to Nordstrom and some other high end department stores, try it out! Hope this helps!! :-)

dior has wonderful perfumes

mac is great for make-up.

I'm not a big fan of maybelline and covergirl because their mascaras come of easily. Their concealers don't even do the job, and the blushes don't have good shades.

eh. idk about MAC, but i've heard it's good. drugstore brands are good, but don't go on as well or stay on as long as MAC, Lancome, Chanel, or others do.
yes very much so mac rules, nyc rules, some maybelline and covergirl are ok. the funkier brands have better colors and textures.
In cosmetics, more expensive brands are definitely better quality. My friend gave me a ';Juicy Tube'; lipgloss by Lanc么me...What a difference with Maybelline or CoverGirl. Lanc么me will not dry up after some time, the taste and smell of the product are amazing, and you NEVER end up with that disgusting and annoying line on your lips you'd get with a cheap product.

Also with eyeshadows, I own a few Christian Dior and Lanc么me! Amazing! Wayyy better than CoverGirl. You will never get a crease at the end of the day, and the colors are vibrant.

I own a Extenxcils mascara from Lanc么me, and again, it's much better than any drugstore brand.

Does Cover Girl Lash Blast mascara wash off well?

It's harder to wash off than any other non-waterproof mascara I have. ANd when I think it's all off, I sleep, and wake up the next morning with all the mascara running down my face. And I mean, this is after I use soap and water and makeup remover too. That's why I stopped using lash blast.Does Cover Girl Lash Blast mascara wash off well?
i got it a couple of months ago and i have no complaints. i just use a make-up remover face wash and it takes it all off easily.
It's not hard to take off at all, it comes off pretty easily, sometimes too easily, but it does give you really nice lashes. Hope that helps! Good luck!

The moment Exact Eyelights came out I ran to the nearest drug store to get `em ! However, when I tried them on my clients - it did not even work a bit! It doesnt do anything, its just a light mascara with a bit of color. Use your money wisely, its not worth it, it doesnt work. You should try Covergirl LashBlast, it really does work wonders, or if you want something a little upscale try MAC zoomlash, those are the only two i use on my clients.

Trust me, it's HORRIBLE. I was SO excited when it came out. I have blue-gray eyes, and I was extremely eager to try it. When I put it on, I was so disappointed. Not only did it not bring out my eye color, but it also added zero amounts of volume, length, etc. Would most definitely not reccomend it. I'd try Covergirl Lash Blast, Maybelline Lash Stylist, L'Oreal Voluminous, or Maybelline XXL Curl Power to make eyes pop.

I got a free sample from The Body Shop of their Divide %26amp; Multiply Mascara. Out of all the mascara I have used (even ones tested on animals because Body Shop does not test on animals), this is my favorite. It really reaches every lash, but its more....watery I guess you would say? Its not dripping or anything drastic like that, but you just have to be careful of smudging for a couple minutes. It reaches all the way to the ends of your lashes too! I love love love it! It isn't really all that clumpy but it does kinda build up at the base of your lashes, but it just adds volume. :D

PS For all you animal lovers out there, I literally just had a revelation before this and I am now going to go through my products and get rid of the ones tested on animals. Did you know you can send it back to the company for a full refund just because you don't agree with animal testing?!
It definitely does not brighten your eyes but it is truly a fantastic mascara. I purchased it about a week ago and instantly fell in love with it. You get a great deal of volume and length without any sort of clumping. This is yet another example of how awesome Cover Girl is when it comes to making clump free mascaras.
i dont know aobut the brightening part butt itt does open them up lots and lots itt gives the illusion so your eyes appear more open and bigger however eyeliner makes them look smaller if you do itt on the bottom across your entire eye if you plan on doing this than forget about evertthing i just said.

I really liked it. Although if you want to brighten your eyes, blue or purple mascara is best. Its not as harsh or gaudy as it sounds, but it really does make your eyes pop!

Edit: No, I have read all the problems with Cover Girl, and they test a lot. They test whenever they have new products come out or when they want to improve a product already on their line. It definitely is not on ';rare occasions';. They do it a lot. They also pay other labs to test things for them so it will look like they don't as much testing as other companies.

Uh I model.. And there really is no way to ';audition'; or home to be a cover girl. Obviously you are young, since you seem clueless about the industry, and if you have not noticed, cover girl models are normally 20-30 years old. Also, modeling has become somewhat in the past, due to most contracts using already famous actresses in their campaigns which definitely helps sales. So unless you're already famous, you really don't have much of a shot..

Waterproof eye makeup is always harder to remove. Water won't do anything, and unless the remover you use is for waterproof makeup, it won't help either. Try buying an eye makeup remover that is specifically for waterproof makeup, or use something around the house with oil in it to break down the formula, such as olive oil, baby oil, or even Vaseline.Why won't the Cover Girl Lash Blast come off?
You need to use a eye makeup remover, and if that doesn't work, try Neutrogena Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover. It doesn't have oil, but a oil like substance that will get rid of the mascara. If you want a cheaper alternative, try olive oil, because it will take all the eye makeup off, while moisturizing your eyes. It is a GREAT eye makeup remover.

To me I think it works. It makes my lashes like bolder and stand out more and brings out my eyes. Like I have it for blue eyes, Black Sapphire, and it has like blue tints in it so it isn't really like black mascara. I would try it, I have gotten tons of compliments on it.

It doesn't really last that long, like an hour. But other than that, it is my favorite gloss! It's cheap, tasty, has a pleasant smell and has a gorgeous shiny, sheer color. Go get it!

In my opinion Clinique, but thats only what works for my skin... yours is a different story everybody is different, to find out you will have to experiment with them.
I love almay. It is not greasy. Your face looks natural. It last the whole day.
I would have to say Bourjois. Non-oily, very smooth going on. Leaves skin feeling refreshed. At least in my experiences anyway! Good luck!

i like loreal true match. covergirl is greasy and wears off quick. clinique is clumpy and doesn't spread well. i've never used lancome.
I use Mary Kay foundation, and I have used it for over 10 years. It makes my skin look super soft, and makes me look like i have the perfect complection. It costs a little more than other foundations, but I think is totally worth it. I switched to Clinique for a while and loved that as well, but switched back to Mary Kay.

Personally, I use ';L'oreal True Match'; and it works wonderfully. Out of the ones you have mentioned, though, avoid Cover Girl. My aunt's dermatologist told her that it's one of the worst products you can put on your skin.
I think that Clinique is the best, especially for young skin. I'm 23 and have very sensitive skin that gets irritated often, and have tried almost all of the drug store and department brands. I've found that Clinique has been the best. Not only given me great coverage (especially on the bad blotchy skin days), but also isn't harsh on my skin. I use the superbalanced foundation and then the airbrush concealer (which by the way is WOW). All of Clinique's products are fragrance free, and they do foundations with and without SPF, which if you have sensitive skin you need to avoid. Another great thing about the superbalanced is that is does a great job of lasting all day, is oil free, and it has silicon in it to absorb natural oils so you don't get shinny. Highly recommend it.
bare minerals foundation is good for every day because it doesn't really feel like you're wearing makeup, but covers stuff well. you can always use a concealer for the really bad blemishes first.

Store ladies don't really know anything. They just stock up the stuff. Unless they use the product, they're no good. They do work depending the darkness of your brown eyes. Cover Girl?

I cannot find a make up that stays on my face...it's too oily. I wash my face twice a day, night and morning with a face scrub made for oily skin. As for cover up, I've tried a lot of types. Cover Girl liquid foundation, recently I've tried Cover Girl ';Clean'; make up, regular and for oily skin and my make up still is gone by 4:00 pm. Are there any tricks I can do, or a special make up that actually works like it says? I've even tried to but powder foundation on under the liquid and it still doesn't help. HELP!!Cover Girl?

I have an oily complexion too. You are doing the right thing by washing your face twice a day.

I use Cetaphil facial cleanser in the morning and at night. Here's how to use it:

1. Wet your face, rub a quarter size amount of cetaphil cleanser in your hands.

2. Scrub the cleanser allover your face, massage in for about 1 minute.

3. Wash the cleanser off and towel dry your face. The cetaphil cleanser keeps my face soft, but not greasy =D. It's amazing!

Also, don't use liquid foundation! Use powder foundation. The natural oils in your face will keep the powder in place. I like the powder foundation that is stored in the back of a brush. I use the powder foundation by Jane, sold at Walgreens.

My powder foundation stays on all day =D.

Witch Hazel Toner Is What I Use, By Olay. But I Use It Morning Only. Then I Use My Covergirl Original Foundation (Fragrance Free). Then For Powder, I Use Marks Matte-Nificent Oil Absorbing Powder.

**But, I Wouldn't Recommend Using Witch Hazel, Alone Without Makeup, Because It Really Dries Out the Skin.

Also, Clean And Clear Has These Really Neat Little Towelettes, They Are Oil Absorbing, And Great For Touch-Ups.
First apply an oil control lotion, then your foundation and then blot powder. Keep those handy oil absorbing sheets around you'll have to blot throughout the day to keep all the shine away.
clean and clear have these oil sheets, that are great size, yo uacn fit them in you're purse ansd stuff, that when you notice you're nose looks oily or shiny, you can just patt it down with th sheets. You can actually see the oil on the sheet that you took of you're face. Also, I would get clinique toner. Its a toner that actually has moisturizer in it, so it wont completely dry out you're skin.
I would suggest using a mattifying foundation primer under your foundation. Cargo makes one and I think it's about $20 but it should last you a couple of months at least. If you don't want to go that route you could always try using an oil absorbing/mattifying pressed face powder on top of your foundation. Rimmel makes as pretty good one and it's nice and cheap.
i caution you not to use foundation. use clean %26amp; clear oil sheets, wash you're face daily and go to facials. you can start using foundation when you face is cleared of oil. use a more reliable brand like chanel. they dont cause excess oil. :)

Ok, so, I used to use Maybelline for my foundation.

I tried 3 three times to get my color, but they are all too pink in color or too orange (I'm half-Asian, half-America).

They just have this weird tint that never match me.

The darker I go, the oranger it is.

The lighter I go, the lighter and pinker it is.

So, I'm sick of Maybelline.

My question is, should I try Cover Girl, the TruBlend (it's said to match 97% of people) or any other Cover Girl product, or should I get something from the expensive stores? Like Sephora?

Try the TruBlend - it's actually really good stuff.

When they first came out with it, I was in cosmetology school, and we actually tested it, and tried it on everybody - out of about 15 girls, there were only 4 that just outright, no way, couldn't wear it.

Most make-ups are either pink or yellow based. Sounds like your trying the wrong bases for your skin. I would try the Tru blends first, if it doesn't match you can take back to the drug store you bought it at and try another shade before going to an expensive dept store!
try Bare essential! Those offer makeup in ranges of ALL skin tones! Its also very light and easy to put on =)

I was under the impression it did (certain websites claim it does) and went ahead and bought some. But I just realized the container itself states no such thing. Which seems weird if it does contain minerals. I'm a little upset coz that's the whole reason I bought it. Does anyone know?

It seems it would be more effective for you to speak your mind directly to the managers or purchasing agents of the local stores, not the manufacturer. From what you say, CG does make the color you want, but the stores aren't stocking it. CG can't *force* the stores in buying particular shades, but you can let the stores know what you want, and if they see there is a need to stock more diverse shades, they can make the decision to do so.

Yes, I've tried it. The color does last for a long time, but you're constantly having to reapply the top coat to keep your lips moisturized. But, overall, it's a good product if you're looking for a lip color that lasts and at a reasonable price. This is one of my favorite products. It really stays a long as it says it will! All night, unless you are eating oily food (skip the salad!)

It is a little drying but it's not a big deal. I'd only reccommend it for a fun night out, not everyday wear, becuase it does dry your lips out just a little bit.

I just wear it on the weekends. I take it off with makeup remover and slather my lips with vaseline at night.

It makes me break out I can only use the expensive kind, but it really depends on you. Try it out for a day and see how it works on you. I highly doubt that things like lipstick and mascara would make you break out but yeah...

it is less than 100ml so as long as you put it in a clear plastic bag and show it when you go through security you should have no problems.

If you are really worried stick it in your checked suitcase then there is no chance of them taking it off you but you are within all the guidelines so should be fine.

How big and where? If it is tiny, you can always modify a band-aid to fit over the tat, especially if it will be rubbing on your dress..

Otherwise just use some cover stick and powder to set it. You will need to re-apply it through the event, though.

i use lash blast as a primer to show me where all my sun-bleached eyelashes are.

then i go over it with lash stiletto to lengthen my eyelashes.

The second requirement is looseness. The clothing must be loose enough so as not to describe the shape of the woman's body. One desirable way to hide the shape of the body is to wear a cloak over other clothes. However, if the clothing is loose enough, an outer garment is not necessary.

Thickness is the third requirement. The clothing must be thick enough so as not to show the color of the skin it covers or the shape of the body. The Prophet Muhammad (S) stated that in later generations of his ummah there would be ';women who would be dressed but naked and on top of their heads (what looks like) camel humps. Curse them for they are truly cursed.'; (Muslim)

Another requirement is an over-all dignified appearance. The clothing should not attract men's attention to the woman. It should not be shiny and flashy so that everyone notices the dress and the woman.

In addition there are other requirements:

(1) Women must not dress so as to appear as men. ';Ibn Abbas narrated: 'The Prophet (S) cursed the men who appear like women and the women who appear like men.''; (Bukhari)

(2) Women should not dress in a way similar to the unbelievers.

(3) The clothing should be modest, not excessively fancy and also not excessively ragged to gain others admiration or sympathy.

Often forgotten is the fact that modern Western dress is a new invention. Looking at the clothing of women as recently as seventy years ago, we see clothing similar to hijab. These active and hard-working women of the West were not inhibited by their clothing which consisted of long, full dresses and various types of head covering. Muslim women who wear hijab do not find it impractical or interfering with their activities in all levels and walks of life.

Hijab is not merely a covering dress but more importantly, it is behavior, manners, speech and appearance in public. Dress is only one facet of the total being

Their husband's fathers, their sons, their husband's sons, their brothers or their brother's sons, or their sister's sons, or their women, or the slaves whom their right hands possess, or male servants free of physical needs, or small children who have no sense of the shame of sex; and that they should not strike their feet in order to draw attention to their hidden ornaments. And O ye Believers! Turn ye all together towards Allah, that ye may attain Bliss.”

Read the Above Ayat at twice that you understand and let me also help you

And let them not stamp their feet so as to reveal what they hide of their adornment. And all of you beg Allah to forgive you all, O believers, that you may be successful”

i have heard that you must wear a hijab in front of a non Muslim girl because you don't know really what is the intention.. i mean because there is a lot of secretly lesbians and BI sexually that's the reason you have to cover up and since its haram in Islam you can wear whatever you want if its a Muslim girl but of course that doesn't mean nudity.
Scholars generally say that in front of other women, a Muslim woman has to cover between the navel/bellybutton and the knee. The rest is fine. Most women wouldn't be comfortable without wearing a top though! It does mean that swimming costumes/bikinis aren't enough - if you're going swimming you can wear some knee-length shorts and a top.

In front of non-Muslim women, including Christians, is where the scholars tend to differ. Some schools of thought (including Maliki and Shaf'i) say that it's just the same as for Muslim women. Others (including Hanafi and Hanbali) say that they shouldn't reveal more than they would out in the streets, because the verse of hijab in surah Nur mentions that Muslim women should cover except in front of the specified male relations, and THEIR women - the latter schools of thought take 'their' to mean 'Muslim'.

Personally I'd go somewhere in the middle - I know that certain women, whether Muslim or non Muslim, are likely to describe your figure, hair etc to non Mahrams, so I wouldn't feel comfortable uncovering in front of them.

I dnt think we have to cover much in front of other girls, if its just be and my mom at home i wear shorts and a t-shirt. i'm gonna agree with some of the other ppl, it depends on you personally, like at my friends sleep over, i had to wear long sleeves and stuff cuz she invited her boy friend over, cuz we went out to eat and had a water fight, after her boyfriend went home and i changed into pajamas .....i packed longsleeve pajamas cuz i knew he'd still be there......i put the pajamas on, but after he left, i didn't change into short sleeves again.....i felt more modest with longs sleeves.....there are times though that i go to a friends house to spend the night, and if we're the only ones home i just take off the long sleeves and wear some shorts. it really depends.....i would say there is nothing to worry about though.
from what I know, the awrah of a woman in front of another woman is the navel to the knee. That being said it does not mean that women should walk around topless in front of each other, however because of breastfeeding and because logic dictates that the chest is normally covered by everyday clothing. As far as Muslim or non-Muslim, I am not sure. For me I have had problems with non-Muslims inadvertently saying things (not with malice just because they do not understand it is a big deal) so I am wary about even taking the hijab off in front of them.
The issue here is not really about your aura in front of them.Allah s.w.t in his wisdom made our aura in front of women from our navel to our knees to accomodate breastfeeding.The issue is about trust.

Some girls will go and talk about what theyve seen and describe your hair and body to their male relatives.Of course this isnt something malicious,sometimes brothers and cousins especially non muslim ones get curious and ask questions.

If you are sure that you will not be talked about and laid bare by description then feel free to dress as you like.

They both Look pretty on Brown eyes, we can get away with almost ANY colour!!

If you go for a Brown on Brown eyes it's better to use a Medium/Darker Brown on Light Brown eyes %26amp; Light/Medium Brown on Darker Brown Eyes %26amp; if you have Medium Brown Eyes you can use Light or Dark Brown.

Green will make your eyes stand out more.

The best thing to do with brown eyes to make them pop or appear a little more lighter and exotic is to either smoke the lid with a dark brownish color (not black) and line the inside on the bottom with either a dark blue or black liner. Or use gold colors that just tint the skin and add a bronze look to the lid. Use a really dark mascara this is garunteed to make your eyes pop. try it out make sure you are using really good brushes and you should be good to go.
